The sun is out, the kids are out, it’s only right you’re out. Take off a week from work and get out. There’s so many places to see, numerous things to do, and you don’t have to break the bank to do these things. I know a few family friendly ideas you can do this summer. Let’s chat
If your family is anything like mine then they don’t keep still. They love to bounce from room to room eating and tearing things up; whose gonna keep cooking and cleaning up behind them. Not I and not you either boo.
Take the kids to the park. There’s a few parks near me that have public swimming pools that are free. Anna T Jordan park https://g.co/kgs/jT28uU and City Brooks Community https://g.co/kgs/j1bA1S. These parks also include play grounds, splash pads, and even walking trails.
Go on a road trip. My family and I love to ride, clown, and listen to good music. We pack snacks, stop and sight see, dine in at 5 star restaurants, and just vibe. A road trip is always a good summer adventure.
Have a picnic. Grab an old blanket, some lunch meat and bread, a big bag of chips, some juice, a good book, and hit the park.
Get creative! Have a water balloon/ water gun fight.
Get a volley ball and net whip some butt in volleyball .
I promise you the amount of fun you’ll have plus the memories being made will make your soul happy.
One thing I plan to do this summer is go to Top Golf. I’ve been wanting to go there since it opened. By looking at the pictures and reviews on the website I can tell my girls will have the time of their lives.
